Sometimes in life, no matter how hard you try, things just don’t go your way. You plan, you pray, you work — yet the door you keep knocking on never opens. It’s easy to feel lost, ignored, and even wonder, “Why isn’t Allah listening to me?” But the truth is — Allah always listens. He never ignores His servant. The delay is not rejection; it’s protection and preparation.

In Islam, we’re taught that when something doesn’t go our way, it’s not because Allah wants to hurt us, but because He wants to guide us to something better. Maybe what you’re asking for isn’t good for you right now. Maybe you’re not ready for it yet. Or maybe Allah wants to give you something far greater than what you’re asking for — at the perfect time. Remember, Allah’s timing is always wiser than our planning.

When you feel unheard, keep your heart connected to Him. Pray sincerely, even if your voice shakes. Talk to Allah in sujood — tell Him your fears, your dreams, your disappointments. Cry if you must; those tears are seen. Increase your dua, dhikr, and patience. Keep doing good deeds, even when you feel tired. Allah says in the Qur’an, “Indeed, with hardship comes ease” (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6). The ease will come, not on your timing, but on His — and it will be worth every moment of waiting.

So don’t stop asking, even if you don’t see results. Keep your faith steady. One day, when the door finally opens, you’ll realize why every other one had to close. 🌿✨
