Ex: This chicken is so delicious.
“So” is often considered informal in developed countries and in Advanced English . Additonally, if you plan to go abroad, they might check this with more attention while speaking.
Instead use “Very”.
Ex: The chicken is very delicious.
“Very” is accepted widely as a formal word.
2)Boost(to increase) .
Ex: The number of literate boosted significantly in past few decades.
This word is not formal at all. It is mostly discouraged to use at interview, in viva and speaches.
Instead use “Exalt”.
Ex: The number of literate exalted significantly in past few decades.
ProTip—Use ” Succomb to death” instead of saying “Die”.
Before: Sadly, my brother died in a car accident.
After: Sadly, my brother succombed to death in a car accident.
