what is islam? Islam is a fulfilling way of life The only way of salvation for mankind from the Almighty God, As a Muslim, when someone asks us about religion, we answer that my religion is Islam.

But what is Islam really, Have we ever considered that? Or what Islam means Many of us do not know this Islam is a fulfilling way of life.

Throughout the ages God has sent countless prophets and messengers to the world to invite people to Islam in the way of God.

Islam was fulfilled at the end of the life of the last Prophet and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Allah determined Islam as a complete system of life.

Islam is an Arabic word This means Submission to Allah, In the terminology, Islam means submission to the great Allah, A person who surrenders himself to Allah is called a Muslim.

That is, a person who does not follow his own whims and desires, obeys the commands and prohibitions of Allah in all circumstances, seeks the pleasure of Allah in every work, and surrenders himself completely to Him, is called a Muslim.

Deen or identity of religion

The word deen has several meanings, After death each person will be asked three questions The second question is what is your religion.

Deen here means life system or religion Give us the path and method we will follow in our worldly life,

The path and method we will follow in our worldly life or the path on which we walk our path is our religion, All the religions of the world have a different religion or way of life.

The identity of Islam

The identity of Islam has been mentioned in a famous historical hadith of Jibril, Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sitting in front of everyone, Then Gabriel came in the guise of a man, He asked a few questions in a row, one of which is what is Islam.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) replied: Islam is that you worship Allah, do not associate anyone with Him, establish the obligatory prayers, pay the obligatory zakat, and observe the fast of Ramadan (bukhari sharif hadith no 50).

Islam is a complete religion or way of life

The last revelation to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in the Farewell Hajj speech was about the perfection of Islam as a religion.

“Allah says in this regard” Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, and swine; what is slaughtered in the name of any other than Allah; what is killed by strangling, beating, a fall, or by being gored to death; what is partly eaten by a predator unless you slaughter it; and what is sacrificed on altars. You are also forbidden to draw lots for decisions.1 This is all evil.

Today the disbelievers have given up all hope of ˹undermining˺ your faith. So do not fear them; fear Me! Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your way. But whoever is compelled by extreme hunger—not intending to sin—then surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

As the day Islam is perfected through the Prophet,Till the Day of Resurrection it will remain steadfast and unaltered

Islam as a religion has been perfected through the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Allah has chosen Islam as the religion for the believers, So there is no room for change and expansion in Islam. And Islam will be considered as an eternal day close to universal life till the Day of Resurrection.

Islam is the only religion chosen by Allah Islam is the chosen religion for the servants of Allah the Almighty, Islam is the only way of salvation in this world and in the hereafter.

“In this regard, Allah Almighty has instructed” Certainly, Allah’s only Way is Islam.1 Those who were given the Scripture did not dispute ˹among themselves˺ out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them.2 Whoever denies Allah’s signs, then surely Allah is swift in reckoning.

All doctrines other than Islam are null and void

Islam has been prescribed for mankind by the great Lord Allah through the Prophet (peace be upon him), Apart from that, all other religions and doctrines are void and unacceptable, All opinions and ways except Islam are worthless to Allah, And in the Hereafter he will be the loser.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Whoever seeks a way other than Islam,1 it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.

Islam means surrende

A person who has surrendered to Islam will be called a Muslim, The Muslim person will continue to surrender to Allah in all circumstances.

Throughout the ages, prophets have preached this universal religion of Islam, In the Holy Qur’an, he said that it is Irshad about Noah (peace be upon him)

Relate to them ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Noah when he said to his people, “O my People! If my presence and my reminders to you of Allah’s signs are unbearable to you, then ˹know that˺ I have put my trust in Allah. So devise a plot along with your associate-gods—and you do not have to be secretive about your plot—then carry it out against me without delay!

۞ وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِى وَتَذْكِيرِى بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةًۭ ثُمَّ ٱقْضُوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ ٧١

“Allah Almighty has commanded Ibrahim (peace be upon him) about Islam” When his Lord ordered him, “Submit ˹to My Will˺,” he responded, “I submit to the Lord of all worlds.”

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥٓ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ١٣١

Of Allah command

MaIn the Holy Qur’an, Allah the Almighty should not allow the believers to die without becoming Muslims, “Isad is doing this”

O believers! Be mindful of Allah in the way He deserves,1 and do not die except in ˹a state of full˺ submission ˹to Him.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ١٠٢

The simplicity of Islam as a religion

Allah has chosen Islam as the perfect way of life for the benefit of human beings and for the attainment of its satisfaction, Islam is the only purely doubtful and eternal divine way of life over all religions in the world.

As a result, all human creation religions of the world are defeated by Islam, Some of the existing religions in the world have become distorted, Some religions are man-made, No religion is based on a complete misconception.

But the truth of Islam, the superiority and the greatness of the beauty of all things, Islam has clear guidelines for every aspect of human life, There is a close and incomparable provision of life, Islam is like all kinds of problems and complexities and a day of simplicity.

“Allah Almighty says” Ramaḍân is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ˹to distinguish between right and wrong˺. So whoever is present this month, let them fast. But whoever is ill or on a journey, then ˹let them fast˺ an equal number of days ˹after Ramaḍân˺. Allah intends ease for you, not hardship, so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful.

All kinds of narrow Independent religion

Islam is a complete religion with a liberal and humane nature, There is no such thing as narrow-mindedness or irrationality in Islam.

“Allah Almighty says” Strive for ˹the cause of˺ Allah in the way He deserves, for ˹it is˺ He ˹Who˺ has chosen you, and laid upon you no hardship in the religion—the way of your forefather Abraham. ˹It is Allah˺ Who named you ‘the ones who submit’1 ˹in the˺ earlier ˹Scriptures˺ and in this ˹Quran˺, so that the Messenger may be a witness over you, and that you may be witnesses over humanity. So establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and hold fast to Allah. He ˹alone˺ is your Guardian. What an excellent Guardian, and what an excellent Helper!

Muslims are a moderate nation

The best way is to be liberal and moderate free from all kinds of polarity, Allah has made this religion a moderate religion, And the people following Islam are moderate and testifying nation.

“Allah Almighty says” And so We have made you ˹believers˺ an upright1 community so that you may be witnesses over humanity and that the Messenger may be a witness over you. We assigned your former direction of prayer only to distinguish those who would remain faithful to the Messenger from those who would lose faith. It was certainly a difficult test except for those ˹rightly˺ guided by Allah. And Allah would never discount your ˹previous acts of˺ faith. Surely Allah is Ever Gracious and Most Merciful to humanity.

The followers of Islam are the best nation

The followers of Islam and the Muslim nation are undoubtedly the greatest nation in the world and their manifestation of human welfare.

“Allah Almighty says” You are the best community ever raised for humanity—you encourage good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. Some of them are faithful, but most are rebellious.

The religion of nature is Islam

Allah has created this world by His might, He has made nature his own, And left in his own state. Nature’s day-night sky, wind, thousands of creatures on the earth, Everything is moving at its own pace.

This nature has its own set of religions or natures And that is Islam, All the inanimate objects and living things of the world have surrendered to Allah Or above Islam, Even then, those who disbelieve and seek other ways than Islam.

“Allah said insulting them” Do they desire a way other than Allah’s—knowing that all those in the heavens and the earth submit to His Will, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will ˹all˺ be returned?

The religion of nature of every newborn child is born on Islam

Islam is the religion of nature, That is why every newborn child is born above the religion of nature, that is, naturally above Islam, Later, due to their parents and surroundings, they were initiated into different religions and sects.

But in fact the direct journey started on Islam The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Every newborn baby is born on Fitrat i.e. Islam, Then his parents converted him to Judeo-Christian or fire worship(bukhari sharif hadith no 1385).

The commentators of this hadith have written This proves that if a child is left in a closed house or in the forest after birth, Yet, when he reaches adulthood, he will be able to recognize his Lord.

Recognition of modern science

Barrett Said at the end of 10 years of research, For some reason, children are not inferior or meaningless, Leaving them as they are, they will understand that the designs of the earth agree with the reason.

And no wise being is behind these reasons “If a few children are left in the desert, I think they will believe in God,” he said, May Allah give us all the correct understanding of the religion.
